Inflatable theme park plans passed

Plans to convert units at a business park to be used as an inflatable theme park have been approved.A planning application seeking a change of use for the units at the Lodge Causeway estate at Fishponds, near Bristol, was approved earlier this month.Permission is now in place for the property to be used for assembly and leisure (planning class D2).Inflatable theme park operator Jumpin Gyms has expressed interest in the site and a planning statement prepared by consultant Andrew Beard said the company would create 60 full-time equivalent jobs by opening a facility.Permission for light industrial use, general industrial, storage and distribution and car sales have already been granted for the site.Jumpin Gyms currently operates in Salisbury and Sussex, and has plans to open a new centre in Derby.
