Interserve wins £13m mental health facility contract
Support services and construction group Interserve has won a contract to build a £13m child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS) unit for West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership.The new unit, backed by NHS England capital funds, will be built on the site of St Mary’s Hospital in Armley in Leeds. The purpose-built specialist CAMHS unit will support young people in the region experiencing complex mental illness, allowing more to access specialist care closer to home, reducing the need to go out of the area for treatment.The project has been awarded via the P22 Framework, from which Interserve has now secured £479m worth of schemes with trusts.
