Investment planned for Yarm hotel under new owner
The new owner of a Yarm hotel is planning a £1m renovation to turn the venue into “one of the leading wedding and leisure destinations” in the North East.The Parkmore Hotel, which was built in 1896, was purchased earlier this month by Newcastle-based High Street Hospitality.Under the plans, the hotel will retain the Parkmore name, but will add improved function and spa facilities, upgrade all 55 bedrooms and establish a new bar and restaurant. Work is due to start in early 2019.
