Ion set to unveil Huyton masterplan
Liverpool-headquartered property developer Ion is set to unveil its masterplan for regenerating a 57-acre site in Huyton, which features proposals for a major employment park and approximately 150 homes.Ion is collaborating with the Knowsley Estate on the Earlsfield Park development. A draft masterplan for the scheme, which is located close to Junction 2 of the M57 directly south of the Knowsley Estate, will be revealed at a public consultation on Wednesday, 3 May 2017.The Knowsley Lane site has been earmarked for a 39.5-acre employment park as well as a housing development incorporating approximately 150 new homes.The proposed employment park would be pitched as a ‘hybrid’ model where the demand for manufacturing, R&D facilities and sub-regional logistics business space could be fulfilled alongside more traditional office and workshop space.The development plans has been devised in conjunction with Knowsley Council.
