Land deal to enable new health facility
A new centre that will bring together health, housing and social care facilities has moved a step closer following the completion of a land deal.The land for the Cylch Caron Integrated Resource Centre in Tregaron has been acquired with £727,000 of Welsh Government funding. The development will replace Tregaron Community Hospital, Bryntirion Residential Home and a GP surgery. It represents a total investment of £8.1m by the Welsh Government, Ceredigion County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board.Work is now progressing on detailed plans for the Cylch Caron project. The full business case will be submitted to the Welsh Government and a registered social landlord appointed by the summer.
