Landmark 22-storey building set to be demolished
A 22-storey tower block in Leicester is set to be knocked down after the plans were approved.Goscote House in Sparkenhoe Street is to be demolished after Leicester City Council backed the proposals.Goscote House was completed in 1973 and includes more than 130 apartments.Leicester City Council Housing is behind the latest bid.Work is now expected start in October and be completed by April 2022.
