Latest phase of homes set to begin on Blackburn development
A new phase of homes at the Green Hills development in Feniscowles, Blackburn will soon be under construction.It comes as Preston-based developer Kingswood Homes prepares to welcome the 125th homeowners to the popular development.Phase 4a of Green Hills will feature 20 homes, to be built across 1.12 acres over the course of the next 12 months.As with previous phases, the homes have been designed by HemingwayDesign. HemingWayDesign was co-founded by Blackburn-raised Wayne Hemingway.Among the properties under construction is a three-bedroom home being gifted to Derian House Children’s Hospice in the Great Big House Giveaway.The external design of the homes at Green Hills offers a contemporary twist to the traditional Lancashire farmsteads and barns, said Kingswood. Inside, they offer a high specification with well equipped kitchens and stylish bathrooms, plus smart home technology including Ring doorbells and Nest thermostats.Kingswood’s Shape Your Home concept means buyers at Green Hills can choose from a range of floor options to configure their home to suit their lifestyle.Options include adding en-suites, making fewer, but larger, bedrooms, adding a study or completely opening up the ground floor to provide an expansive multifunctional family-friendly sociable space.
