Latest phase of Waverley development set for approval
A new phase of more than 170 new homes at the Waverley development in Rotherham is recommended for approval when it goes before councillors.Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey submitted a reserved matters application to Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council in March for a 9.6-acre site comprising Phase 2c of the Waverley scheme.Planning permission is sought for the construction of 175 homes. A mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom properties would be developed, as well as three apartment blocks.A total of 31 units would be allocated for affordable housing.
