Latest project at Dunston Grange gets green light
Pegasus Group, representing William Davis, has obtained preliminary planning approval for a new development project at Dunston Grange, Chesterfield.This approval is subject to the finalisation and signing of the S106 agreement.The plan includes up to 500 new houses, a local centre with a variety of amenities, the construction of a primary school, drainage infrastructure and two vehicular access points.Also included in the plan is a 10% increase in affordable housing and financial contributions towards healthcare and community infrastructure.The project also includes restoring a former cricket pitch, creating walking and cycling links and improving public open space.Planning manager at William Davis, Tom Dillarstone, said: “Our focus is on creating a vibrant, sustainable community that brings not only homes but essential local amenities and infrastructure.”The project passed the planning committee stage on July 24th. Reserved matters will be submitted by 2024, with on-site work beginning in 2025.
