L’Derry Chapel To Be Demolished For New Properties
A chapel on Bishop Street in L’Derry is to be demolished to make way for a new housing development.Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Planning Committee approved plans to demolish the chapel and a former care home, which are adjoined to Nazareth House. The development will include 40 new detached properties, two semi-detached and eight general need apartments, as well as the refurbishment of the Nazareth House listed building into 24 apartments with associated landscaping and car parking.
