Liverpool complex gets the go-ahead
A 12-storey complex comprising apartments and commercial space looks set to be built after councillors backed the scheme.North West Industrial Estates is behind the project, which is earmarked for land adjacent to Brunswick Dock.Proposed is a H-shape asset comprising 240 apartments, 13,300 sq ft commercial space and a car park. The layout has been designed to maximise the available site for residential and commercial accommodation, with the surrounding land proposed for landscaping.A report to Liverpool City Council, which has approved the application, stated that the Falconer Chester Hall Architects-designed project will help create 263 permanent jobs and 120 temporary jobs at the business park, as well as 120 jobs from the construction of the proposed development.
