Lloyds package helps furniture wholesaler scale up
A furniture wholesaler in Birmingham has acquired a new premises and plans to create eight jobs after agreeing a seven-figure funding package with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.Heartlands Furniture, which sources pieces from the Far East and Brazil and distributes it to retailers across the UK, has used a £6.2m loan to buy a premises on Cranford Street.It is also investing in a new range of equipment to accelerate growth, including new trailers and two new trucks. Lloyds provided a £150,000 asset finance facility for the purchases.Heartlands Furniture was founded in 2002 and employs 55 staff.
