Local businesses back Northgate Yard development
The Northgate Yard development being brought forward by Bridgwater has been buoyed by businesses in and around the area.The building works for the £16m leisure and dining scheme in Somerset is well underway and has already seen completion of the initial excavating and groundworks phase and construction of the steel frameworks.So far, 75 per cent of suppliers working on the project have been based within a 30-mile radius.Sedgemoor District Council and appointed contractor Willmott Dixon are both working to support local businesses and employment, ensuring that the economy is benefitting from the scheme.Those involved include G-Works and W. Haley Engineering.
