Lovell to start work on £25m housing development
House builder Lovell is to start work on a £25m housing development on a former colliery site near Merthyr Tydfil.The old Merthyr Vale Colliery will be transformed with 110 homes for open market sale and 43 affordable houses and apartments.Situated between Merthyr Vale and Aberfan, the Ymyl Yr Afon development’s first open market homes are expected to be available for sale in the autumn of 2018, with work starting in the coming weeks.
