Lovell wins contract for next phase of £34m regeneration project

Partnerships developer Lovell has been selected by Newport City Homes to bring forward the next phase of the Ringland regeneration project, following its successful completion of the Cot Farm development in 2020. The large-scale programme is regenerating the Ringland area of Newport and has been developed in consultation with the community. It will involve 158 new homes and the relocation of the Ringland shopping centre.The £34m project is spread across four phases and provides apprenticeship and work experience opportunities for people locally.James Duffett, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “This scheme will transform the Ringland area into a sustainable and vibrant place where people can live and work, which they can feel proud to call home.”At Lovell, we take a lot of pride in providing much-needed new housing and offering local people job opportunities in the construction industry.
