Maidenhead Golf Club could be redeveloped to create up to 1,500 homes following the signing of a deal with the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.Under the terms of the deal, the council, which owns the freehold on the site, will buy back Maidenhead Golf Club’s lease, opening up the opportunity for the site to be brought forward for development.Around 1,500 homes (30% affordable) could be built on the 130-acre site alongside new infrastructure, including road improvements, schools, health facilities and public open spaces.
