Major commercial development proposed in Middlesbrough
Proposals have been submitted for a major commercial development in Middlesbrough expected to create almost 100 jobs.ML Retail (Development) has earmarked land at Low Lane for the development of up to approximately 48,300 sq ft of commercial floorspace.The plans include the provision of a new discount food store, a variety store, a drive-thru restaurant and other commercial units.If approved, it is estimated that the scheme would create between 82 and 98 jobs upon completion, with projected earnings between £2.2m and £2.6m. The application site extends to approximately 4.3 acres and is made up of vacant overgrown land, bound by the A1044.
