Major homes plans get green light on appeal
Up to 100 homes are set to be constructed in Dudley after an appeal was successful.Avison Young’s Manchester office has secured planning for the development on behalf of Real Homes One after the plans for the 6.4-acre site off Bourne Street was originally denied permission by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.However, following an appeal which was submitted in February 2017 by Avison Young and Real Homes One, the go-ahead has now been granted.The site was allocated for housing development as part of the Dudley Borough Development Strategy which was adopted in March 2017.The appeal proposals were considered to be in accordance with the Dudley Local Plan and the need for more quality housing in the area.
