McAlpine team drafted in to replace Interserve on £150m Manchester cancer centre

Bosses at a Manchester NHS trust have confirmed that a team featuring Sir Robert McAlpine has replaced Interserve on a £150m contract to build a new cancer research centre.The £150m Paterson Building at the Christie hospital in the Withington area of the city will now be built by Integrated Health Projects, a joint venture between McAlpine and Vinci.
