McGill awarded £2.3m contract with Govanhill Housing Association
All-trades contractor McGill has secured another large contract with long-standing client Govanhill Housing Association.McGill will complete housing repairs and refurbishment works in 52 properties, in a deal worth £2.3 million.The contract, the latest in a number of contracts awarded by Govanhill Housing Association, includes internal refurbishment of flats, replacement of windows, kitchens and bathrooms plus common repairs to external walls and roofs.Govanhill Housing Association and McGill have a long-standing relationship having completed several multi-million-pound contracts, similar to this new one. In August 2019 McGill re-opened its Govanhill depot after being awarded a £2.6m contract with the housing association.
