Microbrewery transformation for historic pub
A pub in Nottingham which dates back to the 1800s and has some of the city’s deepest caves running three storeys beneath the grade II-listed building, has been re-opened as a microbrewery.The Golden Fleece, in Mansfield Road, has been taken over by Angel Microbrewery owner and former Alley Cafe founder Ben Rose.The venue, which closed its doors earlier this year, now has its own brewery in the cellars and will host regular live music evenings.Paul Hinchliffe, associate and commercial property solicitor at Nelsons, acted for Carlton Street Trading, a family-owned development company which purchased the pub.
