Milton Road site sold to Keepmoat Homes
A 19.4-acre site in Snapethorpe in Wakefield has been sold to a property developer with the intention of transforming the area into a 260-home estate.Acting on behalf of Wakefield Metropolitan District Council, CBRE’s Leeds Residential team has brokered a deal to sell the site on Milton Road to Keepmoat Homes. Keepmoat Homes’ six-year programme is anticipated to start in 2018 and will deliver a mixed tenure of two, three and four bedroom homes.The firm has also confirmed the new development will include job creation, while committing to a number of training and apprenticeship opportunities for young people.
