Introduction
Based on the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), Greenwich is the 19th most deprived borough in England and the 10th most deprived in London. It is widely acknowledged that there is a strong link between social deprivation, STIs (including HIV) and teenage pregnancy. Improving the sexual health of the population of Royal Greenwich therefore continues to remain a vital public health priority.
The Royal Borough of Greenwich (‘RBG’) is tendering its community sexual health services in order to improve the sexual health and well-being of our residents. Through this programme of work we are aiming to increase the recognition, availability and accessibility of our sexual health services.

The Sexual Health Office, Outreach and Screening Service will ultimately provide a non-judgemental up-to-date, comprehensive and relevant sexual health service with information provided by appropriately skilled staff.

In addition, the service will manage our borough wide Condom Distribution Scheme.
