New houses could soon be built in eastern Somerton if the sale of “dilapidated” diary buildings goes through.The Somerton Business and Trade Association has stated that they would prefer the former Express Dairy unit on Horse Mill Lane to be used for commercial purposes.The Somerton Business and Trade Association, which campaigns to promote businesses in the town, has stated that it would prefer to see the site returned to commercial use – but accepted that residential development was better than nothing.
