More than 100 homes set for thumbs up
The development of more than 100 homes in Brinsley, Nottinghamshire, is set for the thumbs up ahead of a planning committee meeting later this week.Barratt and David Wilson Homes are seeking the go-ahead from Broxtowe Borough Council to construct 115 residential properties on land to the rear of Brinsley Recreation Ground on Church Lane.The scheme comprises a mixture of one-bedroom maisonettes and two, three and four-bed houses. 35 of the proposed properties will be allocated as affordable housing.The homes will largely be two storeys, with a small number having a level within the roof space. Off road parking is provided for all dwellings.The scheme has been recommended for approval, subject to conditions.
