Morgan Sindall increases school capacity in Essex by 400 places
The construction and infrastructure group Morgan Sindall has increased the capacity of schools in Essex following the completion of three expansion projects at Lexden Springs School, Glenwood School, and Ryedene Primary and Nursey School.Through these three projects, Morgan Sindall has successfully increased school capacity in Essex by more than 400 places after this was the initial aim of the Essex County Council, who appointed Morgan Sindall to these three schemes through the £300M Essex Construction Framework.Furthermore, these projects are also a result of the council’s recent pledges of £115M worth of improvements to schools so as to better accommodate students with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) following a surge in autism diagnoses.
