Multi-utilities to support 305 new homes in Granton
Arc-Tech MU has commenced the installation of multi-utilities at a major regeneration scheme in Granton.Located near the Firth of Forth, Granton Plot S comprises 305 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, available in a mix of affordable and mid-market rent, that are being delivered on behalf of Port of Leith Housing Association.Arc-Tech MU are assisting main contractor CCG (Scotland) and will provide a turnkey gas, water and electrical multi-utilities package representing the single largest project of its kind the company has undertaken since its inception in 2020.Plot S is located within the Granton Waterfront Regeneration Framework which is one of the largest, housing-led regeneration programmes of its kind in the UK. Up to 3,500 new homes, education facilities, a medical centre, commercial spaces and active travel routes are all set to form part of a brand new town created west of Edinburgh city centre.Construction works commenced at the development earlier this year with formal completion expected in 2023.
