Murrayshall’s 25 luxury lodges get planning approval
Perth & Kinross Council has granted planning approval for 25 new holiday lodges and a 27,000 sq ft spa and leisure complex at Murrayshall.The leisure facilities will feature a gym, swimming pools and membership options for local residents. The spa will include eight treatment rooms and two on-site restaurants.This latest investment is part of a broader vision for Murrayshall. Over the past four years, the estate has undergone £5m-worth of renovations, with enhancements to its accommodations, golf course and hospitality services.In May, the addition of glamping pods are set to increase the estate’s total accommodations to 62 rooms.Gary Silcock, general manager at Murrayshall, commented: “Today provides a major step forward for Murrayshall, since Stellar Asset Management took ownership in 2016, we have been dedicated to enhancing the estate’s offerings.“The approval of 25 holiday lodges and a new leisure club and spa represents a turning point – these facilities are designed not only for our guests but also for the local community, as we shift Murrayshall away from seasonal trends and towards year-round membership engagement.”As part of its long-term growth strategy, Murrayshall anticipates the creation of up to 400 new job opportunities in hospitality, wellness and leisure services.“We are excited to welcome new talent as we expand our operations, ensuring Murrayshall continues to thrive as a premier Scottish destination,” added Silcock.Murrayshall Estate, the former home of Lord Lynedoch, has been a Scottish landmark for over 400 years.The main property features 40 rooms and suites, along with the Eòlas restaurant.
