New 131-bedroom apartment project for Neepsend
Plans have been submitted for a major new apartment development in the Neepsend area of Sheffield.The apartment development would be built on a site currently occupied by Bubbles Car Wash near Mowbray Street, Chatham Street and Pitsmoor Road, directly opposite the Riverside pubSheffield-based practice Coda Studios submitted the planning application to Sheffield Council after working in consultation with the council on the proposal.The building would consist of 131 one- and two- and three-bedroom apartments and studios along with two street-level commercial units.The nine-storey complex would also feature parking spaces and a central courtyard and garden area.If plans are approved, work could begin on the site as soon as 2018.
