New cinema planned for Wolverhampton
A new cinema could open in Wolverhampton after fresh plans were submitted.The owner of Wulfrun Shopping Centre in Wolverhampton is behind the planning application for a three-auditorium cinema.Commercial property and investment company LCP, which owns and manages the shopping centre, has sent the proposals to Wolverhampton City Council for consideration.The application seeks to change the use and layout of unit 74-78 within the Wulfrun Centre to include three auditoria, seating 164, 97 and 87 seats, plus 1,850 sq ft allocated for restaurant/food.LCP added that as part of the proposals the external frontage to Cleveland Street will be enhanced.
