New fitness centre to open in Weymouth
A new fitness centre is set to open its doors in Weymouth in the New Year, creating a number of jobs.Zone Fitness will launch on 29 January 2018 at Avon Close on the Granby Industrial Estate. It will occupy more than 19,000 sq ft and is expected to create 13 new jobs. Developer DJ Property has invested more than £1m in the new fitness centre, with equipment sourced from suppliers in the US.The company has appointed Neil Solmon as general manager at Zone Fitness. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in health club management, including local authority and large private fitness chains. Zone Fitness is set to launch with a membership of more than 1,500 and will be able to facilitate up to 4,000 members in total once it is running to capacity.
