New flats eyed for office block site
An office block in a Northamptonshire town could be knocked down and replaced by apartments, according to newly filed plans.Milton Keynes-based Grand Union Housing Group is seeking the go-ahead to demolish its base at Wood Burcote House, Towcester, and construct a three-storey building with 20 flats.The scheme, submitted to South Northamptonshire Council, would also include 40 car parking spaces, down from the current 59.
