New go-karting track to open in Bristol
One of the UK’s largest indoor go-karting tracks is set to open in Bristol following a deal brokered by property consultancy JLL.The new facility will be on Chapel Lane in Speedwell, in a 47,000 sq ft industrial facility owned by the Rajani family, also owners of the nearby Rajani Superstore. It will be open to the public on 11 February 2017.The venue will be operated by Absolutely Leisure, which already runs tracks in Maidenhead and Basingstoke.An 800 metre tack will be created for use by Sodi GT5 Go-Karts, each boasting 270cc Honda engines, that can go up to speeds of 45 mph.As well as advising on the deal, JLL’s planning team has also achieved a change of use for the property.
