New homes planned for Dacre Banks
A Leeds-based housing developer has acquired a site in Dacre Banks with the intention of building a new residential scheme.Gregory Homes, the residential arm of developer Gregory Property Group, acquired the two acre site in the Nidderdale village with plans to deliver a bespoke new residential scheme.The partnership has secured planning consent to build 22 two, three and four bedroom family houses on the site which was a former filling station on Church Hill, overlooking the River Nidd.Development is set to begin on site next week with a first reveal at Nidderdale Show in Pateley Bridge. As part of the development, the partnership will support the local area through section 106 contributions, including more than £35,000 to upgrade Dacre and Hartwith Village Hall and a contribution in excess of £8,000 to outdoor sports facilities in the form of improvements to Darley Head Cricket Ground.
