New primary school given the go-ahead for Cambridge village
Primary school provision is set to increase in Histon and Impington after the county council approved a new 420-place school.The Cambridgeshire County Council planning committee also approved a 52-place pre-school on the site, on land at Buxhall Farm, off Glebe Way, Histon.The decision means Cambridge Primary Education Trust, which runs Histon and Impington Junior School and Infant School, can progress with a plan to turn both into primary schools.
