News names take space at Longbridge
Two national retailers have become the latest names to take up space in Longbridge town centre in Birmingham.Holland & Barrett has opened the doors to its 2,400 sq ft store in Longbridge, where it has agreed a ten-year lease. It joins the Midlands’ largest Marks & Spencer and national brands such as Boots, Sainsbury’s, Costa Coffee and Subway.Smyths Toys has also signed a 15-year deal on a 15,000 sq ft unit at a starting rent of £300,000 per year.Longbridge is a £100m redevelopment project led by St Modwen.Murray confirmed the company is in talks for the remaining two units and plans for the third phase of development at Longbridge, which will be leisure led, will progress later this year.
