Northamptonshire solar farm set to move forward
Plans for a solar farm on agricultural land in Northamptonshire looks set to move forward.Scottish Power Renewables is seeking the go-ahead to build a solar farm on approximately 244 acres of land north Of Old Head Wood in Brigstock.Infrastructure is also proposed, including housing for inverters, a substation compound as well as fencing, security cameras, cabling and access tracks.The anticipated operational life of the proposal is up to 35 years.Plans will be reviewed by North Northamptonshire Council’s planning committee on 13 January 2022.Approval has been recommended.
