Office scheme launched at city centre building
A new serviced office development in Birmingham city centre has been launched by MCR Property Group after plans to transform the building into 60 flats were knocked back.Lonsdale House, a prominent 1960s commercial block, is located at 52 Blucher Street and comprises 25,000 sq ft of lettable office space over five floors.MCR Property Group is carrying out extensive internal refurbishments throughout the building.MCR Property Group bought the building in a deal worth in the region of £3.5m in January 2018.Plans to convert the building into 60 flats were refused by Birmingham City Council in November 2018.
