Old factory could make way for major development
A bid to construct 120 homes, up to 16,145 sq ft of commercial space and 20 retirement homes in Lincolnshire has been recommended for approval.The application relates to land at the former Fenmarc Packaging site in Moor Lane, Swinderby, and will be decided by North Kesteven Borough Council on Tuesday 8 August.Fenmarc Packaging was purchased by Produce World in 2014 as part of a programme of acquisitions but the site became surplus to requirements and was closed down.Produce World put the site on the market in 2015 but a new occupier could not be found.
