Oxford commercial scheme set for green light
Proposals for two new commercial buildings at the SAE Institute in Oxford are set to get the green light.The site earmarked for development lies to the east of Littlemore House, which was formerly part of the wider Littlemore Hospital.The two new office and dry laboratory buildings would provide flexible commercial floorspace. Building A would span almost 22,000 sq ft, while Building B would provide about 15,700 sq ft.The plans also include associated car and cycle parking; hard and soft landscaping and public realm works.The application is set to be discussed by Oxford City Council’s planning committee later today (7 April 2021) and have been recommended for approval.Final approval is subject to the finalisation of a legal agreement, which would secure contributions towards public transport among other things.
