COMMUNITY FUND GRANTS PROGRAMME

The fund will support health-improving work by charities and local charitable groups, supporting communities around Assura GP surgeries, primary care and treatment centre buildings. Funding will be targeted at projects serving people living within a 15-mile radius of an Assura building, around the country. Programme activities must be targeted towards improving mental and emotional health and wellbeing, which can include gaining support for life challenges and providing increased activities and opportunities to learn new skills, to enable improved self-confidence, self-esteem and a strong sense of belonging.

BAME INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT FUND

The new BAME Infrastructure Support Fund is being made available by the awarding authority to support Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) groups who have been disproportionately affected by the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis. This fund seeks to support BAMEled organisations that can, in turn, help other BAME groups and organisations to access their local Community Foundation and secure National Emergencies Trust (NET) funds from them

The Positive Pathways programme will award fixed grants for projects developed by and for veterans. Projects should aim to improve veterans’ mental health and wellbeing by getting veterans out and active. Projects should have a clearly identified activity for veterans to take part in.
