ADDITIONAL BUSINESS GRANT – SHORT DEADLINE

The Awarding Authority has received £2.6m from the government for a discretionary grant to support small and micro businesses in specified location that have experienced an enforced period of closure and lower trade since the extended local lockdown on 30 June 2020.

NEW ROUND OF COMMUNITY GRANTS FUNDING AVAILABLE

ESF Community Grants is part of the European Social Fund (ESF) programme. The aim of the fund is to help unemployed people progress towards employment through access to learning and training opportunities. Funded activities must be aimed at unemployed individuals aged 18 + from the hardest to reach communities such as: Females Disadvantaged geographical areas Lone Parents People aged 50 + People from ethnic minorities Applications will be considered from any community that can evidence deprivation for example homeless people and ex-offenders. We will be looking for projects that can be delivered and adapted to continue throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
