WDF makes a substantial contribution to the costs of care staff gaining qualifications. You must become a WDF Partnership member and be registered and compliant on ASC-WDS (previously known as NMDS-SC). If you are not registered with ASC-WDS, you can create an account here.Please note new memberships can only be accepted up until 26 February 2021. If you do not complete membership by this date you will not be able to claim WDF for 2020-21 and will have to wait until the new funding round of 2021-22 opens.HOW TO CLAIMTo begin the claiming process please download and review the documents available in the DOWNLOADS section of this page.You will need to complete the CAHSC WDF Claim Form 20-21 and the Skills for Care Employer WDF Claim Submission Form and submit this with a copy of the learner certificate as evidence to elaine.dyer@cahsc-cornwall.org.uk. Please note that if you are claiming for an apprenticeship, whether you are an apprenticeship levy payer, or non levy payer, it will not be possible to use the WDF towards training delivery and end-point assessment costs. However, the WDF can be used towards the associated costs of training, so this is what the fund would be claimed towards.
