The Somerset health community intends to share details of the Suppliers and Tariffs with nursing homes that support Somerset registered patients. These nursing homes may wish to make bookings direct with Suppliers for ‘social need’ transport requests. The NHS will hold no responsibility for the costs of these journeys. At all times, payment for these journeys will remain the responsibility of the nursing home that has arranged the booking. This will be a provider to provider transaction. The nursing home personnel will not be part of the evaluation team for the Framework.
