Persimmon submits plans for Calderdale homes
Housebuilder Persimmon has lodged plans for a development of more than 100 homes in Calderdale.Plans for 104 homes in Shelf have been submitted to Calderdale Council.The proposed development concludes a mix of property types and sizes ranging from two- to four-bedroom properties. Thirty one of the homes will be transferred to a local housing provider.The site at Soaper Lane is allocated for housing in Calderdale’s Local Plan, which aims to increase the number and types of houses available to local homebuyers.James Parkin, land director at Persimmon West Yorkshire, said: “We’re delighted to have submitted plans for a new development in Shelf.”This development will provide 104 high quality new homes for local homebuyers, built to a high design in keeping with the local area.”With the need for new housing rightly high up the political agenda, we’re pleased to be working with Calderdale Council and local stakeholders to deliver homes for first-time buyers, families and downsizers alike.”
