Phase two of regeneration scheme underway after land deal
Work on phase two of a regeneration scheme in Hatherleigh is underway after Kingswood Homes acquired a second parcel of land in the Devon town.Redevelopment of the former cattle market site has been ongoing since late 2019.Now known as The Market Quarter, once complete the scheme will feature 100 homes, a community market and pavilion building, plus children’s play areas.To date 54 homes have been sold, with 27 of them now occupied.A number of electric vehicle charging points are being provided across the site, while Kingswood Homes will make a contribution to the local authority towards education to support the growth of the neighbourhood.
