Pigeon set to fly into Rutland with 213 new homesOver 200 new homes are set to be built in Oakham after property consultancy Carter Jonas secured planning consent on behalf of Pigeon on land off Burley Road in Oakham, Rutland.Of the 213 homes, 64 (30%) will be affordable housing. The scheme will also provide a circular walk and perimeter trail, areas of wetlands, two children’s play areas and allotments.Kimberley Brown, associate partner at Carter Jonas in Cambridge, said: “Carter Jonas planning and masterplanning teams were extremely pleased to achieve this planning permission.
