Pipeline Framework: 350_18 Library Solutions and Self Service Technology

A pipeline has been launched for 350_18 Library Solutions and Self Service Technology.The contract start Date is 01 August 2018. Approach to market date is 16 July 2018.Please note this is a Prior Information Notice and tender documentation is not available yet. ESPO is seeking to establish a Framework Agreement with a number of suppliers for the provision of LibraryRFID equipment, self-service technology, installation, support and maintenance and associated services. We are also looking to include the scope of library management systems and associated support services to provide our customers with an overall library solution. The key aim of the Framework will be to promote efficiencies and cost savings. Lot 1 – Library RFID Solutions, Self Service Technology and additional services. This lot requires suppliers to provide library RFID equipment, software, installation, support and maintenance and training. Suppliers must also be able to provide self-service technology and hardware to enable the general public to access libraries during out of hours. Including any additional services to help deliver an efficient library solution. Lot 2 – Library Management Systems. This lot requires suppliers to provide both a hosted or web based library management system that will enable that will keep a record of all activity and transactions which occur within the library. Suppliers should also be able to provide any associated hardware, installation, support and maintenance and training. Including any associated services to help deliver an efficient library solution. As a Central Purchasing Body as defined by the EU Procurement Directive 2014/24/EU, the FrameworkAgreement is open for use by Public Bodies (defined ) that also fall into one of the following classifications ofuser throughout all administrative regions of the UK:- Local Authorities,- Educational Establishments (including Academies),- Central Government Departments and Agencies,- Police, Fire and Rescue and Coastguard Emergency Services,- NHS and HSC Bodies, including Ambulance Services,- Registered Charities,- Registered Social Landlords, or any public body established by or under the Scotland Act 1998 or any Act ofthe Scottish Parliament.Details of the classification of end user establishments and geographical areas is available on: %29/FAQs/Legal.
