Pipeline Framework: 4184.EFM.SW.24 Faculty of Health Phase 1 (FHP1)
A pipeline has been launched for 4184.EFM.SW.24 Faculty of Health Phase 1 (FHP1).The contract start Date is 10 March 2025. Approach to market date is 1 July 2024.The University of Sheffield are seeking to construct the first phase in the Faculty of Health redevelopment programme on the Universities city campus. The FPh1 building is to be located on the current site of Barber House Annex and Central Garages, which will be demolished as part of the works. The building will include an expansion of the existing SITraN laboratory space and will be connected to that building by a link corridor, facilities will also include teaching and learning spaces, offices, and workspaces for visiting staff, students and researchers. A new more visible frontage will be presented to the Glossop Road Highway to ensure the building is more closely associated with the University Campus and the Hallamshire Hospital.Procurement Route – The current intended procurement route for this project is via a single stage JCT D&B contract although this is be confirmed. The pre-qualification questionnaire is expected to be issued in early July for a period of 4 weeks. Following shortlisting the Invitation to Tender will be issued in mid-August 2024 and will be issued for a period of 9 weeks. The final appointment is expected to be made in December 2024.
