Pipeline Framework: Capital Works Contractors Framework

A pipeline has been launched for Capital Works Contractors Framework.The contract start Date is 20 April 2020. Approach to market date is 17 July 2019.The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea is proposing to place a four year construction framework agreement to support its housing capital investment programme. It is intended that the framework will commence in December 2019 in sufficient time to deliver the capital programme commencing financial year 2020/2021. Over the term of the agreements the anticipated combined spend will be in the order of £150m with the addition of a new build element.There framework will divided into a number of Lots. It is expected that the Lots will be:Lot Constructors1 Lifts2 M&E3 District Heating Systems4 Internal/External Work schemes £1m 6 New BuildOn 9 May 2019 the Council will be holding an event for potential bidders when the structure and further details of the framework will be presented.
